The Padres over...

South Padre was not the party capital it was made out to be in the brochure or we missed the party by a couple of days which is becoming a reoccurring theme on this trip. South Padre is a small beach town with a lot of open beach and dunes. It reminded me of the outer banks.
We spent two nights relaxing at the beach and sipping drinks at the wanna wanna. We did our best to avoid any of the popular activities likekiteboarding, fishing, or horseback riding. I would say we did this because we needed to unwind from the travel, but melis might say something else. Anyway we had a great time and are off to San Antonio tomorrow.
